A rare example of an all original Seventies vintage 1978 Fender Stratocaster in natural finish. Complete with the Fender tags and a US Fender hardcase, this Strat comes with a black scratchplate and pickups.
The condition of this highly collectable vintage guitar is as follows:
- Body - Overall very good. The laquer has worn away nicely with playing in places and adds to the vintage feel. A few chips in the varnish here and there are too small to show and because of the transparent finish are difficult to see.
- Hardware - bridge, tuners and neck plate are all in very good condition with the original chrome intact. The jack socket plate has a blemish in the chrome approximately 10 mm in size.
- Neck - With 33 years of play, frets numbers 1 to 10 would benefit from re-fretting. Some may be OK with a re-dressing. There is also wear (seen in the photos) on the maple fretboard from frets 1 to 2 and from 4 to 10. This does not affect the guitar's playability and is through natural playing.
1978 Fender Strat Features:

- Original tag included
