The Recording King RM-991M-1 Resonator Acoustic Guitar in matt champagne, is a tricone resonator with three 6” Continental cones that transfer strong resonant tones through the body of the instrument. The three cones are positioned with two on the bass side and one on the treble side, balancing the EQ for a sweeter, warmer more musical sound.
This tricone is constructed with nickel-plated bell brass, featuring a screen coverplate and a T-shaped bridge. An ebony and maple saddle completes it. The bridge connects to the center of each cone so that when the strings vibratie, it runs through the saddle and into the bridge. This tricone has a unique tone with long sustain characterized by brilliant overtones and a natural reverb only found in resonator guitars.
