The Recording King RM-999-2 Resonator Acoustic Acoustic Guitar is a classic design tricone resonator with three 6" Continental cones that move vibrations through the body of the guitar for seriously loud. The cones are placed with two on the bass side and one on the treble side, giving a warm balanced EQ and a sweeter sound.
This tricone is constructed from nickel-plated bell brass and has a screen coverplate and T-shaped bridge with an ebony & maple saddle. The bridge is connected to the cone's center so that when the strings are played, the vibrations run through the saddle and into the bridge. This tricone has a distinct sound and great sustain characterized by brilliant overtones and a natural reverb only found in resonator instruments.
This guitar features wild rose engraving over the front and back of the resonator body.
