The Rothwell Love Squeeze Compressor Effects Pedal's aim is to simply make your guitar sound good. It's made possible by designing a new circuit from scratch rather than using an existing copied design and gives the Love Squeeze pedal a unique sound. Low level signals can be raised by as much as 20dB without affecting high level signals, so when used in front of distortion - either in a pedal or an amp - solos can be fattened up without mushing the distorted chords. When used clean the Rothwell Love Squeeze Compressor can be set to just take off the ice-pick attack of single coil pickups for a tone that's easier on the ear. Whilst being a subtle effect, when it is switched off you wonder how you could live without it.
Why not a clone of a Ross or Dynacomp compressor? Why create a clone when you can do it better? The Love Squeeze gives a natural playing feel that never fights against the player. It just controls your tonal dynamics and enhanes your sound.
The Rothwell Love Squeeze uses a discrete FET, the same as the heart of a voltage controlled amplifier. It is elegant and simple, performing beautifully without adding unwanted extra noise. More importantly, it enhances the playing experience just as compressors should do. |
